Dan Deacon

I have been a big fan of Dan Deacon's music since first listening to his latest album Spiderman of the Rings. His music could probably be classified easiest as experimental but I have read some articles where his music is called future shock. I recently attended one of his live shows and I have to say it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. He interacts with the audience and gets everybody dancing. Pretty much any dance goes. Below I have posted by album direct links from Dan Deacon's website for nearly all of his earlier works. I highly recommend purchasing his latest album Spiderman of the Rings as well as his DVD Ultimate Reality which actually has a warning on the case that the content may cause seizures. Copernicus - Immediate Eternity

Year: 2001
Country: USA
My friend Steve found this one day when we were browsing around at a local used CD store. Based mainly on the weird cover, he thought it was worth a gamble for $1. We listened to it immediately afterwards and thoroughly enjoyed this weird album. Seems to me this music fits right in on this blog. Definately worth a listen if you have never heard this. Moondog - Moondog On The Streets Of New York

You may have noticed from my blog that I like a lot of weirdos, especially when it comes to music. Moondog is no exception as I was floored the first time I listened this EP. I could hardly believe music like this existed in 1953. Click here to listen.
